Vercher specifically addressed the Trump Administration’s plan relocate the White House press pool from their traditional location between the West Wing and the Oval Office in order to accommodate the growing number of requests from journalists.

“The problem with that is, that so much information and knowledge is gained from being in that prime location” Vercher told Humphries.

Vercher pointed out that a possible solution to the problem may already exist.

“We do this all the time when we cover big events like big debates or conventions. Not everyone can sit in that little, small space so some of us are in a ‘virtual room’ where we can pose our questions remotely and it works just fine.” Vercher suggested.
